How this list was built

Rankings combine five inputs: (1) recent local award history, especially the Campbell River Mirror Reader's Choice Awards; (2) verified review counts and ratings from Google Business Profile and FishingBooker; (3) captain credentials (SVOP / MED A3 / Pleasure Craft Operator); (4) fleet specifications and amenities (boat class, year, electronics, heated cabin, head); (5) distinct service offerings (Tyee rowboat fishing, wildlife combo, multi-day, fleet charter).

We publish this guide as the operator of one of the businesses listed. Where review counts were not independently verifiable at publication, we left the count blank rather than estimate. All five businesses listed were operating and accepting bookings as of June 6, 2026.
