Built for Visitors Making the Trip to Campbell River

Campbell River is called the Salmon Capital of the World for a reason. Anglers travel here from across Canada, the United States, and beyond every summer to fish Discovery Passage — one of the most productive salmon migration corridors on the BC coast.

If you're flying in from Vancouver, driving up from Seattle, or planning a bucket-list fishing trip, a multi-day package gives you the time to fish the best tides, explore different grounds, and truly experience what makes this fishery legendary. Captain Jason designs every package around what's biting and where the fish are moving — so every day on the water counts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about booking a multi-day fishing package in Campbell River.

Can I customize a fishing package to fit my schedule?

Absolutely. All packages are starting points — we build your itinerary around your dates, group size, and goals. Whether you want more days, a wildlife tour mixed in, or early morning starts, just call us at 250-202-8324 and we'll tailor something specific to you.

Are the package prices per person or per boat?

All prices are per boat, not per person. The 27' Boston Whaler Conquest holds up to 4 guests. If you're a couple or small group, you pay the same flat rate and get the entire boat to yourselves with Captain Jason.

What's the best time of year to book a multi-day salmon fishing package?

June through September is the peak season for Chinook (King) salmon in Campbell River. July and August typically see the strongest runs through Discovery Passage. Coho salmon peak August through October. For the best multi-day experience, we recommend July or August.

How far in advance should I book a multi-day package?

Peak summer dates (July–August) fill up fast — often 3 to 6 months in advance. If you're planning a multi-day trip, the earlier you book the better. Shoulder season (June and September) often has more flexibility. A 50% deposit secures your dates.

What happens to the fish I catch?

We clean and bag your catch on board so it's ready to take with you. We do not fillet or vacuum-seal on site. Many guests take their fish to a local fish processor in Campbell River for filleting, vacuum sealing, or smoking — we're happy to recommend one.

Have a question we didn't answer? Call us directly — we're happy to talk through options and build a custom package for your group.
