What ages are best for family fishing charters?
Kids as young as 4-5 can enjoy our family charters with proper supervision. We tailor the experience to your children's ages and attention spans. Older kids often become enthusiastic anglers after their first trip!
Do you have kid-sized fishing gear?
Yes! We have rods and reels sized appropriately for younger anglers. Smaller gear makes it easier for kids to hold, cast, and fight fish. We also have life jackets in all sizes.
What if my kids get bored or restless?
We keep things fun with breaks, snacks, and wildlife spotting. The action of catching fish keeps most kids engaged. We also look for eagles, seals, and other wildlife to maintain interest between fish.
Is the boat safe for children?
Absolutely. Our 27' Boston Whaler Conquest is one of the safest boats on the water. It has a heated cabin, enclosed areas, and non-slip surfaces. We require life jackets for all children and maintain constant supervision.
Can we cut the trip short if the kids are done?
We understand that kids have limits. If everyone's tired or had enough, we can head back early. We want your family to have a positive experience, not an exhausting one.
What should we bring for the kids?
Bring snacks they like, drinks, sunscreen, and layers of clothing. Motion sickness remedies if they're prone to it. A camera to capture their excited faces when they catch fish!
