2025 Season Recap: Our Best Catches

An Incredible Year on the Water
As 2025 comes to a close, we are reflecting on what has been an outstanding salmon fishing season in Campbell River. From early spring Chinook to late fall Coho, our guests experienced world-class fishing in the Salmon Capital of the World.
Season Highlights
Spring Chinook (May-June)
The season kicked off strong with feeder Chinook showing up in good numbers. May opening day delivered immediate action, setting the tone for what would become an exceptional year.
Summer Peak (July-August)
July and August were nothing short of spectacular. The Chinook run was robust, with fish averaging 15-20 pounds and several Tyee-class fish over 30 pounds landed by our guests. The Sockeye run also made a strong showing, providing additional variety for our anglers.
Fall Coho (September-October)
The fall Coho run delivered as promised. These acrobatic fighters provided incredible sport fishing, with fish in the 8-12 pound range hitting both bait and lures with abandon.
